Statement of Faith
 

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
   

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
   

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
   

• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential.
   

• We believe that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit enables every Christian to live a godly life.
   

• We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life.
   

• We believe in the unity of believers is achieved by the Lordship of Jesus Christ

• All people are in need of God's transforming grace.
   

• God's grace is available to all people who believe in Christ as Lord.
   

• God's grace transforms divisive and contentious behavior into unity.
   

• All believers are enabled by God's grace to be ambassadors of peace.
   

• Peacemaking results in forgiveness, open communication and cooperatively seeking God's will.
   

• Restoration heals the pain of past conflict.
   

Transforming Grace Brings Change:
 

God's grace is experienced by changes of perception, feeling, and behavior:
 

• Spiritual growth replaces stagnation. 
   

• Peace and unity supersedes anxiety.
   

• Courage supplants fear.
   

• Joy expels dread.
   

• Hope and trust in Christ overrides despair.
   

• Love and fellowship triumph over disharmony, tension and frustration.
   

• Purpose and direction are born of God's plan for individuals and the congregation.
